Trek-Tech OptiMount w/MagMount STAR

The OptiMount is a versatile stabilization tool that can be used with any tripod or TrekPod. With MagMount STAR ball head and quick release system, the OptiMount can be quickly secured anywhere along the legs of a tripod or the center tube of a TrekPod. The MagMount STAR ball head and quick release system allow for easy attachment and detachment of your equipment. The OptiMount will work with any tube with a diameter of .56 1.16. It can also be used on railings, tree branches, and other round objects. The OptiMount is made from high-strength aluminum alloy and weighs less than 3 ounces. It comes with a MagAdapter for lightweight point and shoot cameras and a MagAdapter STAR for heavier DSLR cameras and other optical devices. Instructions: Screw MagMount ball head to the 1/4 inch-20 mounting stud on the end of the OptiMount. Screw appropriate MagAdapter into mounting threads on camera or optical device. The regular MagAdapter can be tightened using the included allen wrench. Position OptiMount on TrekPod or tripod tube or other object, tighten with clamp screw. Position the OptiMount anywhere you need it. Especially useful for macro photography or low angle shots. Versatile MagMount allows you to place the camera in any position. MagAdapter STAR prevents camera from rotating in portrait or vertical mode.
