Ruffwear Front Range Harness "Sturdy and well built, but soft and flexible"5 out of 5 stars

Ruffwear Front Range

Review: It's a beautiful color. It is very sturdy and well built, but soft and flexible. It is padded, which is one of the primary reasons I bought it. It is super easy to put on, and to adjust. Best of all, I feel secure when walking my dog, and I know she is comfortable. I highly recommend this harness!

Loon Outdoors UV Fly Tying Kit "Takes two to get it right"4 Out Of 5 Stars

Loon Outdoors UV fly tying kit

Review: What you may have heard is true: this stuff works, and curing by UV takes just seconds, but getting the right finish can be tricky. For example, you need to use both a dollop of "Thick" and a drop of "Flow" to put an epoxy glob on a beadhead fly. "Thick" has the right consistency but tries a bit too tacky (enough that you wonder if it'll pick up dirt or catch a stray feather in your fly box). Curing first then following with "Flow" gets the finish perfect. The results are great, just four stars instead of five for the extra step. You'll be surprised how little you use, even on small flies. I use a pinhead to apply.

Redington Sonic Pro Stockingfoot Wader "Great, needs some refinement"4 Out Of 5 Stars

Redington Sonic Pro Wader

Review: I have a pair of the original version of these. They are comfortable and functional. I have used them for 2 seasons and they barely show it other than the typical staining from mucky river bottoms. They are the most breathable waders I've ever worn! And I sweat a lot! The chest area is a little thick, they could use some thinner fabrics on the inside sections. Also, the two hand warmer pockets are NOT waterproof. So don't keep any items you need dry in them.
Overall these are incredibly good waders and with the newest version I bet they are even better!

Loon Outdoors Zinger "Great Quality Zinger"5 Out Of 5 Stars

Loon Outdoors Zinger

Review: Like all Loon products (in my experience), this is a really high quality zinger. The clasp on the tool holder clip closes very tightly, so you don't have to be concerned about it opening accidently. Likewise, the clasp on the back of the zinger closes securely. Definitely better than most zingers I've owned, and at a very fair price.

Tenkara Sato Fly Fishing Rod "Tenkara For All Rivers and Streams" 5 out of 5 stars!

Tenkara Sato

Review: Oh, how I loved thee, let me count the ways.
Sorry, that's it with the silliness. This is my second tenkara rod that I own. Seriously, there are just so many positives about this rod. The ability to adjust the length from 10'8" to 12'9" means one could fish the entire stream! Overhead branches a problem? you can shorten the rod, and when the stream opens up, extending the rod allows you to reach that fish a shorter rod couldn't.
Plug keeper, just ingenious, and they give you a spare!
The best rod sock ever! Stretchy, and no string to tie it closed.
Super great finish on the rod. Smaller diameter than my other 12' rod and weighs less too.
Gosh, I wish I had known about this rod earlier, then this review would be about how great my first tenkara is!

Tenkara U.S.A. 5x Tippet "High Quality Tippet!"5 Out Of 5 Stars

Tenkara USA Tippet

Review: All lines in the market are clearly marked their strength and diameter, etc. But I always test myself to feel how strong and hold up the shape of straightness after pulled fish again and again. this one passed my standard without hesitation. I recommend to other fishermans out there.

Comments: I've packed this Sling with all of my flyfishing gear and still has plenty room for more. It's comfortable to wear all day on the water without tiring you out. I've tried other bags and would notice neck would kink. Not with this Fishpond Summit Sling. Great design. Durably made.

Redington Classic Trout Fly Rod "I'm not an expert but this rod rocks!" 4 Out Of 5 Stars

Redington Classic Trout Fly Rod

Pros: Accurate Casting,Easy To Transport,Flexible,"Lightweight","Good Price Point","Well constructed","It's Purdy To Look At"
Cons: "It's Made In Chiner"
Best Uses: Fly Fishing,Small Fish,"Trout Bass Panfish"
Describe Yourself Casual/ Recreational
Was this a gift? No
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: Well made and looks great. I've used a 9', 6-weight for the past few years on largemouth bass so there's been a slight learning curve. Being patient and waiting for the rod to load before casting forward is important. It is able to cast a good distance with 3-weight line and throws poppers, sliders and flies that are a little larger well. Hooking up with 16" bigmouth bass is an absolute HOOT!

Redington Sonic Pro Waders "Very Happy & Impressed!" 5 Out Of 5 Stars

Redington Sonic Pro Waders

Pros: Tough Material,Easy To Take On And Off,Dries Quickly,Good Footing,Breathable
Best Uses: Freshwater Fishing,Cold Water
Sizing: Feels true to size
Describe Yourself Casual/ Recreational
Was this a gift? No
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: I mainly fish below damns. Running & cold water mostly. I have used nothing but neoprene before using the Redington Sonic Pro and never knew what I was missing. They keep me very dry, they are light and I have gained moving freedom I did not have with the neos that I used prior to those. I don't have the wet weight of the neo to deal with walking back to my car. They dry very fast in comparison. They are light and breath so well, I usually just put them over my jeans, and drive to the lake vs. having to put the neoprenes on when at the lake because they get so hot. I also got the rebate with mine. For the first time I get the rebate in less than 10 days of mailing it. Love all the pockets and the aqua zippers. I actualy carry my phone in the one that tucks inwards towards my chest. There is nothing no to like about the waders. I highly recommend them.
Service: Prompt delivery and great communications.

Scientific Anglers Max 752 "Bigger than you think" 5 Out Of 5 Stars

Scientific Anglers Max 752

Pros: Huge
Cons: Somewhat hard to open
Best Uses: Nymphs & Hoppers
Describe Yourself Casual/ Recreational
Was this a gift? No
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments: This thing holds a pile of flies. I bought it because I was running out of room for my nymphs. I use one side for nymphs, the other for hoppers. It still has plenty of room to add more nymphs, now I use my old one for dry flies and streamers. Its great, I didn't know how I was going to find room in my vest for a third fly box but no worries with this one turned 2 into 1
